Prescott Web Design Guidelines

Getting Your New Web Site Started

Here is a general outline of basic information that I ask for in the development process for a client site in the Prescott area. It would likely vary somewhat after we had a conversation about your needs and wishes, but this will give you an idea of where to start with collecting resources.

The Importance of Original Content

All of this copy needs to be original material, not copied from other material, most especially from another web site as all search engine results are driven primarily from original content. Search engines do not even see photos, nor do they give credit to sites that have duplicate material found elsewhere on the internet. If you have access to a good write-up related to your product/service you can use it as a foundation, but go through the article and re-word as much as possible so that it is in your own words.

This text copy can all be emailed to me or submitted on a disk as a word document.

The more content you provide the better your site will rank!

Ranking Your Site in Search Engine Results

Ranking takes time. Allow 3 months or so for the search engines to index the site pages and return us as presence for combinations of the keywords we will target for you.
